December 6 Weather Windy And Warm Late Rain And Then Wednesday Snow
Monday December 6
We continue with a bumpy ride and fast changing weather. It is going to seem like spring, then winter, then back to spring, then back to… winter again. The changes will be every couple of days.
Today the focus is on a cold front. Before it arrives, winds will push in the 60s. Then rain showers will come with strong winds that bing back winter.
Afternoon temps will stay in the 30s for a few days, and we have that snow thing on Wednesday. More on that below, and I will have a focus on that in my mid day report.
Then weekend could bring back the 60s and rain ending with snow.

Morning Surface Weather
This map looks complicated at best. Cool air this morning will be replaced by warming winds, only to be matched by the cold front with rain late in the day.
Much colder air will spill in overnight.

It will feel like winter. This will also allow the pavement to cool down quite a bit.

Wednesday Snow Expectation
I DO NOT have snow amounts yet, but that will be academic for some.
Yes, the pavement will chill down for a day… but the temps will be still near or above freezing (mid 30s) in most metro areas during the day Wednesday. I also need to give respect for the water Bay, keeping places with 5 to 10 miles just above freezing.
I will have a closer look at the event in my late morning report.
