The latest geomagnetic storm had a second surge on a second night. It was not as strong, but still enough to keep the northern light night show going. The Planetary K index peaked at 5. This still means the viewing was limited mostly to northern latitudes.

MODEL RESULTS FOR CURRENT SPACE WEATHER ACTIVITY

SWPC uses a sophisticated physics-based model called WSA-Enlil to propagate space weather activity from the sun to the Earth. This model output is one source of guidance to forecasters as they issue official products including watches, warnings, and alerts.

I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. It didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
