Morning Report
What’s ‘groovy weather’ you ask? Well, back to the 60s! Today we temps to bump about 10 degrees above average bringing more energy to outdoor activities. But a cold front will arrive tonight and drop us to the 40s for a couple of days to balance things out.
It is ‘meteorological spring’ so appropriate to bounce back (Ever play tennis with a tennis backboard?)
up. This time a change of our pattern, with the warm temps on the weekend. So in honor of my wife: Flip Flop Army get ready for your marching orders. Check it out!
Morning Surface Weather
A weak stationary front should push north this afternoon allowing a push of warmer air to bring us back to the 60s. However, the next cold front will arrive overnight. Perhaps a brief shower, but the wind shift will be most noticeable as temps will be 15 to 20 degrees lower tomorrow afternoon.
Morning Temperatures
Cool start, but these numbers are a little above average already…
Afternoon Temperatures
Spring Energy in the air… The 60s more likely around Baltimore and south… Remaining in the 50s by the water, Delmarva, and inland north.

7 Day Forecast
I’ve removed the flurries from Friday, but it will be chilly. It just won’t last long.
This weekend warms up with the noticeable bounce to the 70s Sunday into Monday. Yes, Time for Flip-Flops… There may be some rain showers in the mix as a trade off… But those days will be MOSTLY DRY! Then gusty winds to mark the peak temps and the fall back to reality by Tuesday.

*Disclaimer due to frequent questions:
I am aware there are some spelling and grammar typos. I have made a few public statements over the years, but if you are new here you may have missed it:
I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. I didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
It’s part of my charm.
