Monday Morning Snow Roundup And Winter Storm Warning Expanded

At 5 AM, the snow has begun and all seems to be on schedule. If anything, perhaps a little ahead of pace with snow already sticking on the ground with temps still above freezing. That will change.
This is a quick look around the region. I will have a full morning forecast issued around 7 AM.
Winter Storm Warning Expanded
Baltimore City and up I-95 to Bel Air and Elkton in Cecil County now included.

Doppler Radar
The north edge of the snow appears to be through Frederick and Westminster. Steady snow falling and starting to stick east and south of that line.
This will expand a little more north for a few hours, then hold steady.
Southern MD starting as rain was expected, will change to snow during the day.

Temperature Forecast
7 AM Mon to 7 AM Tue
Falling snow will drop temps between 28ºF and 30ºF for most.
Reminder that wind chills will drop into the teens with gusts between 25 and 35 mph
