May 28 Better Weather For The Memorial Day Weekend Then A Heat Wave
May 28 2022
Saturday Morning Report
While we are still under the circulation from that old storm, the bulk of the energy moved through last night and is off the coast. The result will keep temps a little cool and add in some clouds, but the showers and storms will be isolated the afternoon and evening.
The weather continues to improve and warm up Sunday and Memorial Day Monday. Then we set the stage for a heat wave next week.

Morning Set Up
Surface Weather
The original Low Pressure with that circulation still needs to sweep thought. The cooler air aloft will lead to self destructing sunshine. That means sun will warm the ground, which will help build more clouds today… and a few isolated thundershowers later.

Simply a guide- not perfect.
The bulk of energy will be north of I-70, with a better chance of a thunderstorm in the mountains and through southern PA after 4 PM

*Disclaimer due to frequent questions:
I am aware there are some spelling and grammar typos. I have made a few public statements over the years, but if you are new here you may have missed it:
I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. I didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
It’s part of my charm.
