October 23 A Little Coastal Storm To Bring Rain For Ravens Game
October 23 2022
Sunday Morning Update
We talked about this a few days ago and it looks like that coastal Low has formed AND it WILL bring rain for the Ravens football game in Baltimore today. The rain has already moved in past Ocean City and is expanding inland across the Lower Eastern Shore. So for central Maryland, after a beautiful Saturday and a dry morning, anyone heading to the game should bring gear to keep them dry. Also with the rain showers, temps will be dropping during the afternoon.
This little system may get held up at the front range mountains in Frederick, so farther west just clouds will advance this afternoon.
The showers may linger into Monday, then we get a few warm days during the week.
Morning Surface Weather
I am adding this to the Atmospheric Memory file. It looks like we have found a favored region off the Carolina coast this year to develop Low Pressure and send the moisture our way. It has happened a few times already and again today, so may be worth noting as we enter the winter season.
