Forecast Intensity

The majority of models keep this a Tropical Storm. However, there are some models that show Hurricane intensity over this weekend.

Tropical Forecast Track/Cone

NOAA/National Hurricane Center

The Tropical Storm is expected to reach the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico this weekend.

RAINFALL: Fiona is expected to produce total rainfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with isolated higher amounts across the northern Leeward Islands, the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and eastern Hispaniola.  These rains may produce flash and urban flooding, along with isolated mudslides in areas of higher terrain.

Wide View

While there is a lot that can change in 5 days, this is expected to curve north of Hispaniola and then become more of an interest for The Bahamas and Eastern US.
