Sunday Morning Update

We are closing out summer in fashion. The humidity is climbing and it will be hot, but tolerable this afternoon. The good news for much of our region is that we remain dry, but there may be some isolated storms popping in the afternoon.

This morning there has been a cluster of storms in western and central Pennsylvania. The trigger for storms may creep closer, but have more of an impact for our western and northern zones.  So if you are south and east of Baltimore you have a better chance or holding on to the ‘dry’ conditions today and much of tomorrow.

It looks like the bulk of the rain will be passing through late Labor Day into Tuesday.

Morning Surface Weather

We can call this a ‘dirty high’ as High Pressure is still in control, but we may see more clouds fill in during the day.

Radar Snapshot

The action this morning has been around Pittsburgh to State College, with more back in central Ohio. This is the active region that will slowly creep east today, but likely miss metro Baltimore to the Beaches.
