Thursday Morning Report
Today we get a break from the rain, but we can’t rule out a sprinkle with the easterly wind. What is on the way is trending worse. A storm will bring heavy rain, including late thunder Friday. Then over the weekend may close off and stall, bringing us more rain and chilly winds lasting into Mother’s Day. There will be a lot of events affected this weekend, and I am just the messenger.
Today is more about direction, not speed. This will be a chilly wind and set the stage ahead of our next storm…
Today it may keep more clouds around and develop some sprinkles in the afternoon.
Normal Low in Baltimore: 49ºF

Normal High in Baltimore: 71ºF

Showers will be with us in the morning, then expect a band of heavy rain and thunder to arrive at night through midnight.
Low Pressure will develop the heavy rain Friday, then may close off over the Mid Atlantic keeping the rain and chilly winds around all weekend.
This is trending through Mother’s Day with unfavorable weather to be outside.
Low Pressure stalled off of the coast keeps a chilly wind and rain around..
Mother’s Day Sunday will bring some slight improvement as the rain moves out… but the better weather will arrive next week.

I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. I didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
