Friday Morning Report
We have had two days in a row in the 80s, roughly 20 degrees above average. This holiday weekend starts off with nice weather, but another change in store by Sunday. Temps will step back while remaining comfortable today and tomorrow. Easter Sunday will be windy and chilly!
The hum of lawnmowers and increased pollen has filled the air, but we still have another frost in our future. So it is still a little early for planting.
Friday Set Up
Morning Temperatures
The most important thing is that the wind is nearly calm. That will allow the clear sky to let the sun warm us quickly this morning.
Surface Weather
While we are still in a warm pattern, there will be reinforcing chilly air on the way this weekend. It will be here by Easter and much of next week.

*Disclaimer due to frequent questions:
I am aware there are some spelling and grammar typos. I have made a few public statements over the years, but if you are new here you may have missed it:
I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. I didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
It’s part of my charm.
