Tuesday Morning Report
Inflation will be the main news story with today’s update on the economy. It’s not good for us to pay more and get less at the storm. But, the inflation of numbers on our thermometers is the positive twist I would like to propose we focus on as a distraction.
A few showers have passed by this morning. This is part of the atmosphere responding to the change many have been waiting for. Temps will jump with sun this afternoon and finally feel like spring! We will have at least one, if not two days in the 80s. Do you know the last time we hit that mark?
Tuesday Set Up
Morning Temperatures
Already mild this morning, and warmer air on the way.
Surface Weather
The showers look worse on this plot than they really have been observed. It will be a morning thing, was we dry out and get sun to warm us this afternoon.
Radar Simulation
7 AM to 12 PM
A brief period of showers this morning. Clouds will give way to sun by or just after noon.
4 PM Temperatures
A little breeze will help ‘dry the sky’ as the saying goes. It will be a downslope wind, which will get the sun to assist with warming.

*Disclaimer due to frequent questions:
I am aware there are some spelling and grammar typos. I have made a few public statements over the years, but if you are new here you may have missed it:
I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. I didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
It’s part of my charm.
