Saturday October 9
More clouds and a little cooler this weekend. The winds have increase from the east adding in more moisture, and the culprit in part is Low Pressure trying to form off the Southeast US coast.
The National Hurricane Center is will be sending in an Air Force Reconnaissance flight into the system this afternoon. This is to monitor any development.
Current odds are 40% for this to be tropical and named in the next 2 days.
Morning Surface Weather
The map looks disorganized. Why we have an easterly wind bringing in more moisture, there is not a lot of help to doo much with it.
The net result, if we get showers, they will be scattered and not a washout. However we could develop pockets of drizzle through the day and evening.
Rain Simulation: 10 AM to Midnight
The NAM 3 Km model does show the hint of showers developing especially later today and tonight.
Note: Our local Offical recording station at BWI tends to be warmer than models and surroundings.

TODAY October 9
Normal Low in Baltimore: 48ºF
Record 28ºF in 2001
Normal High in Baltimore: 69ºF
Record 94º F 2007
Coastal Low Simulation through Monday Afternoon
This looks less impressive for us that earlier through. A little lighter circulation and tracking a little south is making all the difference. However, there will remain the risk of showers on Sunday.
