Heavy Snow Pushing North On Radar at 7 AM

Winter Weather
Heavy Snow Pushing North On Radar at 7 AM

At 7 AM we can see the heavy snow pushing back north.

I stripped the winter mode to show the intensity better…

We can see the heavy snow just on the edge on the edge and south of Annapolis. The yellow and orange shows the higher intensity of heavy wet snow on the move out of Virginia. This is about to return to Washington DC, and southern Maryland.

To the north, the cold – but- dry air. It has stopped the snow in Frederick and Westminster. The snow should return there in the next two hours… but that is the northern boundary.  This is also the source of the subfreezing air that will expand into more of the region this morning.

The steady and heavy snow should make it to I-95 along Baltimore to northeastern Maryland over the net two hours.

Faith in the Flakes. This is just getting started and behavior close to the schedule.
