Monday Morning Update

Happy Halloween! We have a little system rolling through today and tomorrow that will affect plans starting with traffic, but also the kids costumes and trick or treating. Areas of fog start the day, with rain already entering western Maryland. We will be tracking more rain this afternoon and evening in the timeline slider below.

More rain tomorrow, then we focus on a warm up through the first week to 10 days of November. It is important to note that we are in fog season and this pattern is prime for thick morning fog, especially around the Bay and Delmarva.  The daily warm ups will depend on how soon it burns off and the sun can break out… Highlight on that this weekend.

Morning Surface Weather

Rain has entered western Maryland. While this system has lost some punch, it will still bring in showers today, which we will track on the live radar and forecast simulations below.

Warm Start To November

Click to see this report: We will have a few days in the 70s, with a slight chance to get close to 80ºF next weekend.

November Weather Outlook Starting Warm And Near Record Heat

7 Day Forecast

We are in morning fog season.  With warmer air and longer nights, the moisture from the Chesapeake Bay is what helps lead to many foggy mornings for Delmarva. There is also a spread inland to the west if the winds are right, plus interior valleys and nearby lakes/reservoirs.

If we have a run for 80ºF next weekend, it will depend on how much sun can break through.
