This will be a brief weather outlook to include the normal region plus a highlight on Western Maryland. My team is starting Maryland Trek 6 Day 2 in Cumberland this morning. We will be hiking and biking across the state all week until we reach Ocean City next weekend. This is a celebration of my recovery from childhood illness while we raise awareness of kids in cancer treatment today.

The weather plays a big role in your plans and ours. We will be hiking 27 miles then biking 14 between Cumberland and Hancock. It will be cooler here in the mountains than metro areas, where a weak front remains. There is a 30% chance of showers and storms after 1PM today through this evening.
