Western York County in south central Pennsylvania...
* Until 1015 AM EDT.
* At 714 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Harrisburg, Carlisle, Lower Allen, Hanover, Weigelstown,
Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Gettysburg, New Cumberland, Parkville,
Enola, Steelton, Lemoyne, Hampton, Plainfield, Schlusser,
Littlestown, Carroll Valley, Valley Green and Boiling Springs.
Additional rainfall of 1 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
