Southwestern Lancaster County in south central Pennsylvania...
Southeastern York County in south central Pennsylvania...

* Until 1045 PM EDT.

* At 1034 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in
the warned area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lancaster, York, Columbia, Millersville, Mount Joy, Red Lion,
Spry, Manheim, East Petersburg, Dallastown, Shiloh, East York,
Stonybrook-Wilshire, West York, Salunga-Landisville, Maytown,
Shrewsbury, Grantley, Tyler Run-Queens Gate and Valley View.

Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
