The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
Eastern Dorchester County in southeastern Maryland...
Wicomico County in southeastern Maryland...

* Until 300 AM EDT.

* At 1217 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hurlock, Sharptown, Secretary, East New Market, Galestown,
Brookview and Eldorado.

Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
