Noon Saturday October 16
Temperatures
Mainly in the 70s across the region. Strong winds are picking up 10 to 20 mph from the South. BWI reported 79ºF at noon. The record high was 90ºF in 1897. That will NOT be broken today. Some 80s in southern MD and lower Delmarva. 60s and 50s behind the front with rain just on the other side of the front ridge.
Radar
Update at 12:45 PM showing more showers developing east of Frederick to Westminster.
Rain has reached Hagerstown MD to Martinsburg and Charles Town in WV. Cells are RACING to the Northeast into PA ad 6o to 70 mph, but the line it self is slowly moving to the east. The individual cell speed is why winds may reach ‘severe storm’ limits this afternoon. I will have another update soon.
