April 10 Chilly Today FROST ADVISORY TONIGHT Then BIG WARM UP During The Week
Sunday Morning Report
We are not done yet, but we are getting very close. After another day with sleet, graupel, and small hail mixed with showers, there is one more band this morning. We can’t rule out a brief shower, and the chilly breeze will be dominant this afternoon.
Monday morning will be cold enough for frost inland, THEN a big bounce in the afternoon. We warm up to at least one day with a chance of 80ºF
Sunday Set Up
Surface Weather
Winds will be gusty this afternoon.
Closer Look
The final push of chilly winds has a cluster of snow showers in the mountains this morning. This is expected to break apart, but we still may see a brief rain or snow shower.
Morning Temperatures
There could be some spotty frost already this morning…
Rain Animation: 8 AM to 5 PM
The mountain snow appears (on this product) to fall apart. However, looks closely and there are some spotty sprinkles. I would be cautious and consider a few showers or sprinkles to pop up any time.

Wind Forecast
Another windy day with a chill…
Animation
Winds will calm down this evening and tonight. That will allow the drop in temps.

*Disclaimer due to frequent questions:
I am aware there are some spelling and grammar typos. I have made a few public statements over the years, but if you are new here you may have missed it:
I have dyslexia, and found out at my second year at Cornell. I didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region.
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There is no editor that can check my work when I need it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
It’s part of my charm.
