Check the numbers on your thermometer. If you have a home wether station that records the low, there is a good chance it dropped into the 40s or lower 50s if you are inland from the big cities.
This layout shows
- 40s dominates inland/west.
- 50s Metro and most of Delmarva
- 60s along the Bay
High Pressure is in control providing our chilly start with a cool breeze lasting this afternoon.
This air mass will remain in charge through the weekend, but the return flow will warm us up this weekend.

I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
