Temperatures at 8:15 AM Wednesday
Quick Weather Notes
At 8:15 AM Wednesday December 22
Temperatures across the region still range across the freezing mark. There have been some ‘spots’ with clear ice, but it is now widespread. All it take is just one patch in the wrong place.
I have read reports across Carroll and Frederick Counties in Maryland, and into southern PA where there have been accidents.
A few locations are starting to rise above freezing (circled in yellow).
Temps will thaw this morning, then fall again during the afternoon as COLDER WINDS gust 35 mph.
The ground will be dry by then, so no additional worries about ice.
