June 7 Weather Morning Rain Then An Afternoon Thundershower And Stronger Storms Sunday
Saturday, June ,7 2025
Rain has developed this morning, so we have a soggy and humid start. Much like yesterday, this is more robust than the short-range models have suggested. We know the atmosphere is prime to keep us unsettled for a few days. The specifics are harder to pin down, so please consider that with the forecast maps I share.
The best way I can sum up what to expect and how I have explained this to my family and friends: Today we have morning rain, then a break with a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Sunday will bring a little more rain starting in the morning again, with stronger thunderstorms during the day.
We get a break on Monday, but we can’t rule out a shower. Then, on Tuesday, there will be more rain and storms. This will be followed by summer heat to end the week.
Morning Temperatures
Once again, there are areas of fog as the rain moved in earlier.

Morning Surface Weather
The impulse of rain this morning will move east by noon, then the cold front will push to the south. This is what may develop some thundershowers.
Another wave of Low Pressure will follow and shift that same front back north our way on Sunday.
