Temperatures are already cooling down after reaching the mid-60s yesterday. Today will still be mild, with rain arriving in the mountains this afternoon and evening across metro areas.
Behind this system, much colder air will spill in for a few days. The core of the cold will arrive this weekend and bottom out on Monday morning. Then, a slight warming trend begins on Christmas.
