Tuesday Morning
Today is the first FULL DAY of Spring and it will start to feel like it. After a clear and chilly start, we will turn the corner with a warming trend. This will come with increasing clouds today and a few days ahead with rain showers.
We will have a few days in the 60s, and at least one day into the 70s, however, there could be another depending on the timing of rain showers or sunny breaks.
High Pressure is dominating the East Coast, which is why we have a clear and cold start. The winds will turn and allow a warm up this afternoon. This will also come with increasing high clouds, so the sun is likely to dim behind a milky white sky filled with cirrus clouds.
The next storm will follow the same track to the Great Lakes, which will help to pump in the warm air and moisture later in the week.
Another chilly start under a mostly clear sky.
7 AM to 7 PM
Increasing high clouds are expected to turn the sky milky white, then dim the afternoon sun. Temps will be warming though….
Despite the fading sunshine, the temperatures are likely to get up close to 60ºF.

Not as cold as the last few mornings.
Again into the 60s.
The next storm will once again pass to our North, but keep us on the edge with a few days of showers. The steady rain is most likely on Friday. However, this pattern will include warmer temps as well.
It will feel like spring with days in the 60s and 70s. The amount of rain may determine if we can squeeze another 70-degree day out of this cycle.
After the next storm passes, we will return to chill early next week.

I am aware there are some spelling and grammar typos, and occasional other glitches. I take responsibility for my mistakes, and even the computer glitches I may miss.

I have dyslexia, and found out during my second year at Cornell University. It didn’t stop me from getting my meteorology degree, and being first to get the AMS CBM in the Baltimore/Washington region. One of my professors told me that I had made it that far without knowing, and to not let it be a crutch going forward. That was Mark Wysocki and he was absolutely correct!
I do miss my mistakes in my own proofreading. The autocorrect spell check on my computer sometimes does an injustice to make it worse. I also can make mistakes in forecasting. No one is perfect predicting the future.
All of the maps and information are accurate. The ‘wordy’ stuff can get sticky.
There has been no editor that can check my work when I needed it and have it ready to send out in a newsworthy timeline. Barbara Werner is a member of the web team that helps me maintain this site. She has taken it upon herself to edit typos, when she is able. That could be AFTER you read this.
I accept this and perhaps proves what you read is really from me…
