Monday July 30 2018
We earned that weekend break in the weather, but now we start a new week and back to the same old thing. This storm today will bring the heavier of the rain to southern Maryland and the beaches. Temperatures will be held in the lower 70s and it will feel just cool and damp even on the northern edge where the rain is lighter.
The forecast this week ahead keeps a risk of showers and mainly afternoon thunderstorms in each day, but there is hope again that next weekend will bring some improvement. Now is when I will be focusing on that as my team will be starting Maryland Trek 5 on Sunday August 5 from Wisp. So if you want the wet pattern to stop, please know I am with you… We have a full 7 days to cross the state hiking and biking and would prefer it to be dry.
