Friday December 23 – As we jump into hyper holiday mode with schools closing, last minute gift gathering, and even frantic packing for family trips, the weather is not a main concern. It is a cold morning in the 20s, but we will warm above freezing today and stay there tonight. We have rain on the way but more of a nuisance thing into Saturday for the first half of the day. Saturday night will be dry for the start of Hanukah. Christmas will NOT be like last year when were were near 70°F. It will be closer to 50°F, and dry. Another quick and quiet cold front mid week, will set up the colder air to arrive as we close out 2016. There is a chance in the extended outlook that we could get some snow New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. Here are the latest maps.
