10 PM Tuesday November 29 – A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Maryland Counties west of the Chesapeake Bay, southern Pennsylvania, and northern Virginia. The rain today and some clearing this evening aloft has provided the optimal conditions as warm moist air continues to push in. The fog will be under 1/4 mile in spots and make for tough travel overnight. Notice the end time of 7 AM. That is because of the next wave of rain that should help to mix the atmosphere, but add another layer of travel trouble to the morning comment. See the rain timeline below showing heavy rain for the morning and possible thunder Wednesday evening as temps approach 70°F to close out November. December will arrive with a fresh batch of cold air.
