November 5 – High and dry! High Pressure is in control, which means another stretch of clear weather and the winds will not be much lighter. However, this will be extending the drought issues across the area. Needless to day, this will be a classic Autumn weekend with chilly mornings and warm sunny afternoons. If you had frost this morning, no worries. The afternoon will be back in the 60s… and similar weather can be expected for the Across the Bay 10K and Ravens game on Sunday. I will have more specific details for fellow runners and tailgaters this evening. But plan to wear layers and remove them as it gradually warms up.
Here is a quick look at what we can expect, as the patter will show some signs of change next weekend. Note the the upper air pattern can take a day to reflect on the surface. So the drop in temps will be most noticeable next weekend. Enjoy what we have for now with only one small chance of showers Thursday.
