Monday July 25 – This morning at 7 AM, the temperature at BWI was 79°F which is 5 degrees warmer that the same time on Sunday. On that pace, temps should reach the upper 90s to near 100°F. If we hit that mark, it would tie the record set in 2010. That is only part of the story today. With high heat, comes high energy and there will be a source for storms to form this afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center has the target of slight risk of severe storms for our region.
