Tuesday April 19 – Our nearly perfect weather over the past week will have a wrinkle to it. A cool front will be sliding south from PA today. There is not much moisture to it, but the winds will increase this afternoon as temperatures begin to pull back. Monday we reached 83°F in Baltimore and today will stay in the upper 70s with more clouds and the shifting wind. The threat of rain is near zero, but we will have one system arrive on Friday. That will be a small piece of the system that has brought flooding to Houston. For us, only a slight chance of rain, then back to the beautiful weather this weekend and next week.
Red Flag Warning: The dry weather might be great for outdoor activities but it also makes for a high risk of brush fires. The warning is to limit any open flame from cigarette butts to fire pits as it could spark a larger fire that may get out of control.
Rain Outlook Friday:
Showers will reach the mountains Thursday afternoon. Most will pass to our north, but the chance of showers will reach our region Friday. Only about a 50% chance of rain, and it will be spotty.
