Sunday March 20 – Happy Spring! The new season has officially arrived as the sun’s direct rays are now focused north of the equator. While we still have some snow in the forecast, it is not nearly as potent as it could have been and very little chance that it sticks. This will be moderate event for coastal New England, but we are just on the edge. More rain and snow will develop during the day and last into this evening, and the chance to see snow will shift a little farther east. Costal areas will get an increase in snowfall after dark and overnight. Temperatures should remain above freezing, but there may be some stickage on grassy areas.
Here is a look at the computer model projections so you can plan your day. Keep in mind, after this passes there will be a brief warm up the week. Below an outlook of temperatures past Easter Weekend.
