Wednesday March 16 – Rapid changes are expected today and the next few days, but what else should be expected in March. There is a Dense Fog Advisory this morning in parts of Maryland from Carroll County westward until 8 AM, and southern Pennsylvania until 10 AM. But patchy fog is scattered around Baltimore and the Eastern Shore where a few minor school delays are in place. This will erode away as a warm front moves in this morning with a band of rain showers. This afternoon, another line of rain with a cold front will bring in the chance of isolated thundershowers. At least we will get close to 70°F. Then we set up with a colder trend for the weekend and yes the chance for some snow on Sunday.
First, here is a look at the expected rain today. The best time for showers and thunder in metro Baltimore/Washington between 2 PM and 4 PM. Southern Maryland more likely this evening.
