Winter Begins Today But Rainy And Record Warm Week

WeatherDec21Perhaps we could call it the winter reset with the solstice at 11:49 PM tonight, but that will not change things. While meteorological winter began on December 1st, this is the astronomical winter with the lowest sun angle and shortest daylight of the year. Temperatures will be going up to record territory again just before Christmas in what may turn out to be the warmest December on record. Once again, we can thank the El Nino pattern.
