A chilly northeast wind will average 10 to 20 mph. That along would suggest temperatures stay below average. Throw in a stalled front and large storm nearby throwing in some rain, and temperatures will have a tough time breaking out of the 60s. If we fail to reach 70F, it will be the first time since June 4th to 108 days ago. Compare that to 85F on Saturday and the drop to only 79F on Sunday (at BWI) and you definitely should consider wearing long sleeves and a jacket today.
As for the rain… There are some showers this morning, but that will continue to develop and increase this afternoon. There will be some heavier showers, but generally less than 1/2 inch for most.
