Rain Timeline, Totals, And Another Heat Wave

Rain Timeline, Totals, And Another Heat Wave

Storms erupted overnight and woke many up. It was a slow moving line of heavy rain producing, loud rumbling storms that dropped south out of southern Pennsylvania. In the path, a wide range of 1 to 3 inches of rain and some flooding. Doppler Radar summary (so far) shows the pulsing of the rain, and as I write this (7:45 AM) it as still pouring on the Eastern Shore and heading to the beaches. More is on the way. Check out the simulated radar below, plus the set up for heat most of this week into the 90s.

Simulate Radar:

This is just a gauge for spread and timing. The precise location will in part depend on local heating and developing of some cells.

Heat Wave?

Most of the week ahead will bring high temperatures back into the 90s
